I know Toler and he does push the limits sometimes, but I also believe that because he bails a lot of people I wouldn't, he runs into more problems.

Also, they filed a complaint against him with the CA Department of Insurance, he won that case.

From what I can gather, he should have just kept his mouth shut at the start.... move on and go at it from a different direction... the article stated that he brandished a firearm and threatened the couple with bodily harm.... two things that I consider a no no.... I saw no reason for either and yet both those actions gave the couple the ammunition for their suit... I think if he had just walked away, the entire mess would have faded.... but as you said Tony... sometimes he 'pushes the limits'...

My grandmother always said.... "the more you stir sh't, the more it stinks".... and I think that is what happened here.... shoulda just quietly apologized and walked quietly away... we bring stuff down on us with our own actions...

... too bad.

Toler is like a pit bull. Once he lashes on, he doesn't let go. This is not the first time he has run into trouble on a recovery.

Also, If I remember correctly, the Solano County DA also pushed the couple to file the complaint and lawsuit.

Toler won the case on the criminal charges and department of insurance hearing. But as we all know, civil lawsuits have a much lower burden of proof needed to win.
