Just happened to check in here.... nothing posted in almost 2 weeks... This site used to be hoppin'... but apparently... no more... So sad... we used to have so much fun... we tried to start up NABBI... we tried to inspire professionalism in this and associated industries... we tried to give factual advice, from real people in this business... ... but alas................ just wouldn't happen........... only a few of us were interested in the big picture... and that is precisely what is happening in this great country........... individuals only interested in themselves... with no thought or concern for where we are heading.................. oh... well............ I'm still havin' fun............... hope those that are still around are toooo... I still have your names and contact info... we can stick together, regardless of who else decides not to hang in there.... So................................. Take care................ be seein ya...............

Well Bill,
I check in about once a week. I don't have much anything new to add, except the Dems in control of California will most likely legislate us out of business in about 5 years tops
I'm close enough to retire at anytime so I don't really care anymore. The "youngsters" need to prepare for a career change. Once California goes, the rest of the country will follow pretty quickly.

I'm still lurking around here,
I'm just not in the industry anymore and don't have much input.
Tony hit the nail on the head. The pretrial release program here in Minnesota has put many of us in my state out of work and into other careers. If that's the way CA is going, good luck to you.

I am not really surprised about MN. But, just did not hear about it.
I think there are many other states are doing the same thing, just quietly.

Im still alive and kicking ... Bail is ok here in Miami ... Nothing great .. but steady thankfully...
Been real busy with Mom ... she developed a bad UTI that spread trhoughout her bloodstream and needed hospitalization and tons of antibiotics to combat her infection ... she is slowly recovering in rehab and should be home by or around next weds.. 5/10/17.
So between bail and mom I have a full plate at the moment..
