Well, again. Lets cover a few things "Faircloth"

In my post about "on line courses" nobody was reffering to you.You must have a guilty complex.

Yes, I took a online course " nothing wrong with learning more material". I took this course after a 10 day academy, field training, numerous "hunts" and learning from other FRA's. After buying 1) Fugitive Recovery Bible from LAW , and Modern Day Bounty Hunting from Rex, CCW classes and advance firearm classes. And so on. Then I took an online course for futher training and networking.I'm sure I'm going to take more courses in the future.

I've also seen that your trying to discredit us on other BEA forums as well.

Your only making yourself look bad, nobody likes a whiner.

Concerning this "Cowboy Crap"

When you have fresh newbies going out with experianced FRA's, of course thier going to nervous and so forth. Wake up, this is a new field for them. My first night out after my academy I was scared to death also.Or maybe if they did'nt go to the bar and have a drink or 2. Nah, I wont go there!!!

Anyways, experianced agents will move on and start there own company. get over it.

This is my last post on this forum. Too much drama, ego's, etc...

Moderators- delete my membership, seeing I can't figure out how to do it.

No offense to the PRO FRA/BEA's reading this.

This is an age old issue not just related to our industry, but for all trades for all times.

Even the greatest philosophers of ancient times engaged in similar debates, The Orientals came up with the best solution:

Learn all you can..from all sources. The true seeker of knowledge and wisdom doesn't limit oneself to only 1 master of 1 discipline, rather he studies under ALL MASTERS AND ALL DISCIPLINES. Then he formulates his own style that is best suited to him and his environment.

Yes, we all need basic class room "hands on" training for self defense, chemical sprays, handcuffing, bldg searches, etc. In fact in some states it is mandated by law that you be certified by a leo instructor in these facets of our industry before being allowed to work.

However, there is also a "textbook" side to our industry as well, just like any other field. We have to stay abreast of constantly changing laws, equipment, tactics, strategies, etc.

Also online courses can aid us in building a business: marketing strategies, contracts, building a clientelle and keeping those customers, etc. Scott Harrell has some of the best online courses that I have ever seen www.bondforfeitures.com. I learned alot from him and I talk to him on a regular basis.

There is plenty of room for both venues, and the true professional considers all tools objectively before eliminating them.

Now, having said all of this, you do of course have to check the schools out to make sure they are professional and accepted.
