What ever you do, don't put him in the trunk and drive him all the way back like that. A few TN boys became case law for doing it that way years ago.

Illinois is a NO HUNT State . . . You must follow the UCEA . . . had a Bondsman here end up with a Felony Kidnapping charge back in 2007

Contact Dave Martz, he may have local contacts. Each state. Has statutes that govern this, and may require presenting before a judge and request that a local warrant be issued. Then the judge will direct the Sheriff to lock this person up on their warrant and formal extradition begins. You must have the level of extradition increased to cover Illinois first. You may have to provide your local States Attorney with a letter agreeing to pay the cost of extradition. When the subject is apprehended, ask the SA to authorize your transporting of the fugitive. Dress professionally and the response may go your way.

You may be able to get a UFAP . . . which would add an additional charge above and beyond the original FTA . . . now, would that not be poetic justice Here in AR, it must be a felony, we must have an exact, and it is filed thru the local PAs office which in turn is filed with the District Attorney's Office. Brings the US Marshalls into play (at least it does here) David would def be the one to go to for the info

I deal with all the time since MA is a state where you can apprehend HOWEVER, you best turn him into law enforcement. They have to be formally extradited to where ever the warrant is out of. I check with the issuing agency of the warrant ask if they are willing to include MA and offer to pay for it. If not I go to a judge. If not then... I don't go. If I get what I want I head out track the skip down and let the locals do the arrest. (MA DAs are notorious for trying to have FRA arrested) This way I get my receipt signed and I get paid and don't have to listen to a terd whine in the back seat for hours.
