http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G-LudzDeG6s&feature=plcp During our 2 hours of "Justifiable Use Of Force" lecture at the academy, our coordinator showed us a couple of video clips, without audio. Afterwards, encourage us shared our opinion, we all reached different verdict and conclusions.
When audio was introduced, we all changed views.
One of the clip in particular, was when an officer put the suspect on the ground, she handcuff the suspect and put him in her car. It looked like a textbook arrest, but when the audio was introduced.. She used foul language and uttered "That's what you get, idiot" She was later put under disciplinary action, and terminated from the department after further evidence of misconduct.
The other video, an officer seemed to be fighting, with the suspect and had to subdue him forcibly, but when audio was introduced, the suspect threatened officer's safety.
The Academy had this to say.. "Be professional at all times" because things can turn around an bite you.
The video above is just BAD, both video and audio....
Why did he grab the SQ by the hair and dragged him out? Unprofessional!
