It has been suggested by several members of the forums, that we remove the FRN National Directory Free (Standard) Listings.

The Standard listing are available to provide limited exposure for the various members. However, often we have submitted information that is not accurate or just false.

As an alternative, what has been suggested is that we charge a nominal fee in order to have a Standard listing ($10, $15, $20 or $25 per year) While these listing do offer some exposure for the members it doesn't have the additional features available with a Premium Listing.

The belief is that by having a small fee to be listed, it would decrease the amount of fraudulent listings found in the directory. Thereby, making the directory more valuable as a search tool for others, thus increasing the importance of the listed members.

I am seeking input from all members of the forums, as well as, those members currently listed in the directory.

I started to vote $20 but I think even $10 would do the same.... cost will stop a lot of ads that have no real connection to legitimate folks.... even $10 will be a deterrent to those.

Most sites charge something and cost in any amount is a deterrent to the BS listings, IMHO.... it would work, I think.

I voted yes to a small fee, $10 to $25 dollars a year is damn cheap for advertisement plus folks don't realize what cost is associated with a large forum as FRN

Voted yes $20.00 or $10.00 would probably do the same.

I have to agree with Bill ..

For the $10 I would be willing to pay for the listing .. is well worth it ..

Since I have been listed I have probably made over $1000 already .. so $10 YEARLY is VERY VERY VERY VERY FAIR !

Voted! $25 is peanuts. If you get one job from it you are WAY in the black. If you actually make a solid contact....come on. This ain't rocket science. Charge 'em, Phill.

Recently I have called several numbers off the list in various parts of the country. Many are D/C, not in business anymore, or have any idea of what I am talking about. Number changed. I think it is a good idea to charge to be listed on the F.R.N. It can only make us look better in most peoples eyes.

Good luck with it and thanks for having the F.R.N.
