True in that regards. That is why it is mandated that we check in here in this State . . . "shall be guilty of" Symbol Arts does great work !

This is the badges Marco and I had made at Ed Jones in Berkley. Little costly but worth the bucks. We did have to change the State Seal though. They look nice but also dont match any local PD badges.

I have one from Ed Jones also that is a star with my bail agent number on it. It does have the CA seal embossed in the center so it is kind of hard to see.
I will try to post a pic of it here.

The company I worked for in Ca. also had custom badges made with the Ca. state seal on them. They soon became paper weights. Any badge with a state seal on it is typically illegal.

Not sure it would really become a issue unless it got to a pissing match. Just to be safe thought changed it no a non state center.

As much as I understand the safety benefits of a badge for a recovery agent, mine stays under my shirt a lot of the time while going after a skip. (Most of the really.) If I am going into a storefront or a college that is a different story. For some reason even the simplest printed ID badge puts to rest some very paranoid minds.

Hello everyone, I operate in KS, MO, OK, CO, NM, many more as for those states we carry a badge. the badge says "bail enforcement officer". I dont know about some states but in KS. the badge and a uniform looks professional. I run a business and professional appearance is a must. The badge and a uniform helps identify you as a bail enforcement officer and it shows we are not L.E. but yea I can see a problem. I would not want to operate with out one.

Here is Washington State they do not require a badge however if you do intend to carry one they specify the design it must be. Any thing other then the specified design is not allowed. Ken Meyers Bail Recovery Services LLC
