I read that article and it has nothing to do with bailbonds really. And 200 bricks of H for $28K???? That math is off.

I worked in the "media" for 30 years. They will always mention the occupation of a person arrested or charged with a crime if they know it.

But when the occupation is tied into the law or criminal justice system somehow, then they will definitely mention the occupation as a subliminal attempt to show how a supposedly good guy was actually corrupt.

In some states, convicted felons can still become bail agents or "bounty hunters." So, we have that negative image to deal with.
