But technically you can use US
This is without the periods after each letter. It could be said that it means United Surrities. Thoughts on this?

So you are implying that you would use something like,
US Fugitive Recovery or US Bail Enforcemeent.
When CA had it bail recovery law on the books, that would probably be enough for an "informed" cop to make an arrest for impersonation.
As a "reasonable person would assume the "US" meant United States, not us as in "us (the group of bail recovery agents) are going to get some bad skips off the streets."
I would think that you could come up with a better name that would not be questioned that you are implying you are LEOs.

I am not implying that I would do that. I was just mearly pointing out that technically it would not be against the Fedral regulation. It does not make it right, just possible. We all know that the people that would enforce these rules would most likely be local law enforcement. So in the end it is up to thier discrection and the local laws that govern the city, county and even state. Not to say you wouldnt run into some federal authorities that would be so kind as to let it go. I honestly believe there should be a national standard, everyone on the same page makes for playing nice together.

And there is always the possibility that someone could use the US and legally defend themselves in federal court...but the legal fees for such defense would probably be in the 10's of thousands of dollars (after all appeals are completed). I am not sure about anyone else, but I know I would have a whole lot better things to spend that money on! Seems easier to choose a name that would never put me in that position in the first place...

What is unique about USIS,LLC is anyone with half a brain will understand the "LLC" part and know that it is a private corporation. Or you can separate the "US" from "IS" and have Us Is as in "Us Is after the bad guys." I think that may be ebonics.
