Yes, you are quite right, these people I call slash and burn, grifters.

its is a specialty that they perfect time and time again

I have friends that are attorneys, PI's, ex detectives and I do refer to them time and time again for info and for advice

This individual - he has a history - quite an extensive list of prev addresses. I have all this info, and much much more.

I have been to court several times and I have had the advice from my friends (attorney and law backgrounds) and I have retained a lot from all this

It might be a lost cause but I stand mostly on principle and that is why I will not give up. I believe people need to fight for their rights. and when taken advantage off, to never be afraid to try and retrieve what is theirs.

If I give up, I will blend into the millions of people (my case, women) who are taken advantage off, physically and mentally abused. IF but one can stand against their abuser, it may set the precedence for maybe only one other, but nonetheless, something another person can draw strength from.

While I feel for your plight, often times the counting on collection of a judgment is like buying a lottery ticket. Some people are judgment proof, in that they understand the system and if they have assets, they are usually in someone else's name, and therefore, not attachable. All courts have pamphlets that explain the procedures for obtaining and perfecting a judgment in the respective jurisdiction. You need to research the process for an oral interview, wherein the judgment debtor is subpoena'd to court in a Duces Tecum, and must, under oath, divulge his employment, income, and financial details. You may be able to attach his security deposit for his residence if he is renting. Unfortunately, you have not had positive responses from the companies that you have approached because you want them to work for a percentage of what you collect. They know full well the likelihood of a successful collection of the entire debt and are not willing to take that gamble on a judgment debtor that has his track record.

Practically all collection agencies work on a percentage of recovered assets. Also, some will not take a difficult case. They all like the easy ones.

You may want to google law firms that handle collections exclusively. They sometimes, and again sometimes are able to get better results.

HOWEVER, they take a larger percentage up to 60% of what is recovered.

Other than that, at some point you need to move on and hope that he will get what he deserves from karma.
