a/c ducts, hollowed out sofas, hollowed out chest of drawers, front loading lg capacity washers/dryers, children's toy chests, burying themselves under piles of laundry, hidden compartments in walls, floors, escape hatches in mobile homes, etc.

List goes on and on.

Ruffin, when hunting in trailers the two things that I check most often: fire/emergency hinged windows, check to see if they are unmatched and if there is anything present to allow an easy exit, block, chair, ac unit etc., the other thing is spring hinged doors in hallways looks just like paneling until you push on them and find a pantry a crack head can fit in!

Remember that trailers present the fatal funnel and are very dangerous to hunt in.

Scott,
To be perfectly honest, mobile homes scare me more than any other type of structure primarily because of the "kill zone".

I don't know if you remember the case in 2005 where a Tn. BEA was murdered in coldblood,in a mobile home, in Jackson Co. Al. (Scottsboro area) by a fugitive using a sawed off 12 ga. Shotgun. Cut the BEA plum in 2. The fugitive escaped, only to be captured in Mo. A yr. later.

congrats Bob,you have learned already what some of the new agents as well as some of the old have yet to learn about this industry. You absolutely have a good mentor and I must say I am a little jealous that you have gotten to ride along with Scott!! lol follow his lead and one day you to will be a super hero!! j/k seriously though,if I lived in Scotts a/o I would definately be trying to get him to let me ride along with him.And I have been doing recoveries for 6 years now and still believe I would benifit from Scott.I live in the same state as Mr. Stiles over here too and he still wont let me ride with him!! I promised I would be good and everything!! lol Think he said I wasnt pretty enough!! lol J/K Joe.Mr. Stile lives on the opposite side of my state but rest assured when I first started and if we were in the same A/O I would have been trying to get his knowledge in the industry as well.So as I said, you chose very well when you chose to acquire Scott as a mentor.
