I am about to transport a fugitive from AZ to VA and I am having touble finding the laws for transportation between the 2 any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the Forum.
Two things:
1) Please go to the "Introduction" section and provide an informative
intro with a proper signature line so we may know to whom we are
speaking to. The information you are seeking is sensitive information
and we do not just give it to those we do not know.

expert in the transport business and could probably answer your

The Dan. Criminal Trans. Act of 2000 (106-560) may not always apply. In sect.# 3 Definitions (2) It states transporting ind. in cust. of the state. If i pick up the fugitive up my self may not be covered.

The state of Conn. has a section that covers armed trans. of prisoners. The A.G. Richard Blumenthal issued a offical opion to the Comm. of Public Safety Spada on May 24 ,2004. The legal sect. is Conn. chap. # 534 www.ct.gov
