Yes, between $55 and $60 per month.

If the agent is carrying a concealed weapon, then the rate is somewhat higher.

If the agent is carrying two hands, eight fingers, and two thumbs, and wears a triple black-belt, then the rate is different.

A $700 policy would cover you( just 1 person) as a records retriever not much else. Insurance pricing goes by number of employees, amount of coverage, man hours paid out, Office person salary's, What type of services you provide, what % of each service you provide, armed or unarmed even caliber of your weapon and i can go on and on but you get the picture. a arrest & control policy rider would add way more to your $700. Where i am going with all this is if you get insurance make sure it will cover what you provide. On a side note insurance will not pay if you break any laws and also if you use your personal auto to do your business your personal auto insurance will not cover anything. In this day and age you as a business owner must cover your ass. There are a couple of insurance companies that will cover you as a bounty hunter ( For extra money) if you have a PI policy with them but most will not, there is also a lot that won't write a PI policy if you or any employee is a bounty hunter. A $4000 Bounty Hunters insurance policy is a normal price as there is no insurance company wanting to insure this any more. :YOU HAVE TO PAY TO PLAY

There are no Policies for $700 that would cover you as a bounty hunter !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree completely with David on this!! If your insurance agent for your PI insurance tells you it will cover you while doing recovery work, double check with the actual insurance carrier. I know of several PI's who thought they were covered because the local agent told them so only to find out later that they were not!
