Its very common but its a must and very important to have insurance without it Bondsman/Women won't talk to you, We as Recovery Agents have a lot to deal with from getting business to tracking and apprehending along with with the infamous doggie put downs many problems that we don't need, Everyday we put our lives on the line, the last thing we need is to have a rogue agent/Bounty Hunter out here giving us more scars and bruises by not having PROPER training and LIABILITY INS. Yes it hurts you and could quite possibly put you in Jail but it also puts a black mark on us, so with all due RESPECT make sure you have insurance to CYA.

Any information as to the amount of coverage that would be recommended by members would be greatly appreciated.

Quite honestly its up to who ever would hire you but I personally would look at 500,000 to 1,000,000 dollar coverage and there is a lot of things to be considered when getting ins.also
