Innocent til proven guilty. But what are they going to pay you with, insurance money? They may not have a house to put up for collateral. Using collateral that may be taken back by the sheriff as stolen? MMMMM....Nah, just ride it out buddy, and if you're not guilty your job should be rebuilt by the time the case resolves. I will say this though, we as bail agents spend so much time being competitors in small towns, it is good to see them get together on this noble concept for the greater good of the community instead of vying for the dollar.

They may be innocent til proven guilty but IMHO I think its pretty LOW to loot a buisiness or a home after a devastating disaster such as Joplin,Mo or anywhere for that matter they're where they need to be as far as I'm concerned!!!!!!!

I think I would have to agree with them coming together and letting the people that got caught looting feel some pain like the victims of the tornados did. Yes, innocent until proven guilty, but for a crime like that-they werent arrested unless they were caught red handed...

It is a hard call as a bail agent tho- you should not discriminate... but at the same time the agents may have family that lost everything to and these people could be stealing from them.. soooooo - I would say conflict of interest to bail them out 8)

Low life. They are lucky they were arrested as they could have been shot

I too am slightly conflicted but would tell them to call someone else. There are plenty of bail agents in my AO that will do anything to post a bond.

Anyone that would steal what little valuables that were left after a major disaster, has no sense of decency what so ever.

I allways take a moral look at the bonds I write. Passed on quite a few. Inocent until proven guilty is true but not by signature on the paper for some.
