Yo Spee, I take offense to that term "backwoods"

I know, sometimes I get a bit out of line... sorry, I was just pokin' a bit... I am sure this fellow was just tryin' to be helpful... ya just need a thick skin to deal with some of these old timers on here... no big deal, he may come to the realization that all we were doing was trying to get him to post a proper introduction so we knew "who and what and where he was really comin' from"... if he thinks about it... he will figure it out... if not, it would be his loss.

This site has so much to offer, if only a person will read not only the written word but what is between the lines.... a lot of wisdom here... I learn daily from the best.

..added later...

Just a short addition to the poster here... Mr. Willfix... please understand that there are many members and also many that are not members but read this site often that are way above your and my pay grade in this business... many have been in and associated with this industry for 20 or 30 years, many have clearances and connections in areas that we as lowly bondsmen and recovery agents can only wish for... many have performed recoveries and written bonds that would make great movies and books, many do not post or say anything on this site but they sit in the wings and read and assess what is said... every once in a while you will see a post from one but more often than not, nothing appears.

When you realize that simple fact, you can readily understand why some on here are reluctant to provide info to someone that drops in and immediately begins touting their success or how to do something or general advice... especially if they start asking for information or even simple stories about experiences... that is all that is going on here, nothing more and if someone cannot handle the heat as they say..... they need to stay out of the kitchen.

I am sure I am viewed as the class clown on here but I will tell you that when the heat rises... I sit back (usually) and let the true cooks ply their trade. Accept the heat and move on... you will find that we are a pretty good group to deal and learn from.

... and that's all I have to say about that...........

Ladies and Gentlemen -

I know how much fun it is to play with newbies - at the same time they are still trying to get the hang of this place.

Having fun at each others expense after you know each other is fine - but please refrain from doing so with new members.

You have a great opportunity here to help and instruct those that don't know as much as the collaborative group.

We are all learning and trying to improve. If visitors and new members are scared off before getting to know how informative this site and it's terrific & knowledgeable members (You) are - it doesn't assist in getting a better educated public.

You all are tremendous and I appreciate your participation as well as your many contributions to this site.

Phil,
I called Mr. Fix personally and explained to him about the seriousness of divulging information on the public side of the site and he was not aware of the private side. He is okay and I am sure will be back on here after a cooling off period. He is a very good and knowledgeable gentleman and has allot to offer. I intend to work with him when I have a need in his area.

Yes we do have a tendency to eat our dead sometimes. I used to have a bumper sticker on my car while in college years ago, "Rugby players eat their dead!"

Love to all,

Scott

The things I eat better be dead! I wouldn't like something wiggling around in my mouth or worse yet, my stomach.

Tony, Debi (my wife) is biting holes in her tongue right now. You left alot of maneuvering room with that last comment.
