Like L.A.W. indicated, prostitutes and exotic dancers may be bailed out so long as the bond or bonds is/are well underwritten, but I personally don't suggest signature bonds for people in the aforementioned occupations.

A workable letter may be broken down as follows by paragraph:

Purpose/Problem

Introduction describing expertise

Suggested Solution

Suggestion for implementing the solution

Offer with contact information to further discuss stated issues

The above is a suggestion and open to feedback. To avoid losing any potential reader, perhaps the letter should be restricted to no more than two pages with one being preferable if possible.

Rex

I for one do appreciate the structure format since I am not really a writer. I just happened back on here to check the mailing address of the letter I am working on for tomorrow's mail and, will try to implement Rex's format to sound more structured and to the point. I for one do not intend on adding Chapman's name in my letter.

This letter should be treated in the same sense of a resume...we each will only have the attention of the reader for app. 15-30 seconds at best. In the HR world, the avg HR person makes up thier minds within 45 seconds of the interview..anything after that is wasted time. So 1 page letters are well advised for this purpose..the shorter the better. It also shows respect on the part of the writer for the tv show personnel.

Remember the old acronym: K.I.S.S.

I sent my letter today, but I approached it from a different angle. Knowing how Dateline likes to do those "undercover" investigative reports, I suggested they investigate different BEA schools that pump out 2 day Wonders. I stated if they wanted to do a story about this, they could have a "Professional" review their video tape and comment on camera.

Although I did not mention any schools, I did give the address to this website, where they could read up on the Profession.
