Being still new, I have only had a couple of times where LEO's showed up. I don't dress like them, I don't wear a badge, and the moment I see them coming I hold up my licenses and paperwork and explain slowly who I am and what identification I have. I think because of this, they have been really very nice to me but I also treat them with respect from the start.
The funniest experience I had was with MD. Called MD dept ahead of time, let them know I was going to search the indebtitor's property, gave them name, license, all the basic info. I showed up to apartment and saw skip run in (was on the 4th floor and wasn't worried about him jumping onto the concrete below) so my partner and I decided to call the management company and ask them to open the door to the apartment. Someone from the management company showed up and said he wasn't going to open the door. So I told him we would be taking out the door then with a breaching tool and my partner went to car to get it. The guy tells me "OK - I will get a key and be right back". About 15 minutes later MD officer shows up with apartment manager.
Show all paperwork, license, and explained that we physically saw the skip run into the apartment. Officer looks at Apartment manager and says "why am I here?". Apartment manager starts rambling. Officer looks at my partner and says "you know how to use that breaching tool?" Partner says "Yes sir". Officer looks at Apartment manager and says - "kindly step over here a second and watch this". Officer told us "If he isn't in there, I am taking you both to jail, but if you are sure he is, do what you got to do".
So my partner grabs the breach tool and swings and "BANG" - OUCH OUCH OUCH OUCH (it's a metal door and frame). Took 3 swings and each time the vibration hurt like hell. Officer couldn't stop laughing. We walked out with skip. Officer looks at apartment manager and says "Now that was funny!". Apartment manager wanted to know who pays for door. Officer says "Bill the tenant I am going back to dinner and tell the guys about this, this was the funniest thing I see all week"...Yeah, I was embarrassed, but I got the skip and got paid so it worked out and I learned something new about doors.

Tomorrow is the most important thing in life. Comes into us at midnight very clean. It's perfect when it arrives and it puts itself in our hands. It hopes we've learned something from yesterday.
