No crazy ones here. All of my encounters with LE, and there haven't been many, were positive and uneventful with one humorous exception. I was doing Loss Prevention, not bounty hunting, at a Ross Dress4Less and had just made an arrest. I was chatting with the cop who took custody of my bust and decided, for sh@ts and giggles mostly, to ask what he (and the Santa Ana PD in general) though of bail recovery agents. He said they were all "shady". I laughed and said that I was/am one. He laughed and said "yeah you look it". What can I say? I was unshaven and dressed down in my undercover role! LOL. That humorous anectdote aside, as I said, all my recovery encounters with LE have been quick and painless.

Oh, in LP had alot of encounters.. even kicked out a Sgt. out of my office and store for being a sexist pig!

Others were pretty funny. one officer wanted to help us catch a shoplifter so we sent him out to the parking lot with one of our radios to hide and wait. When the guy walked out my new agent stopped him and the guy threw soda in his face as myself and the cop ran towards him, we ended up crashing into him at the same time, all went down. The cop ended up at his head, my agent across his tummy and I was at his feet. For some reason the officer had his baton out and the guy got it, so he pulled his OC and sprayed him.... Ummmm NOT ideal for under an overhang enclosed area with no ventilation.. Ya, he got us ALL! He NEVER lived that one down. To top if off I had it all on video!!! Keystone style! :D

Did you know that Harpos' son's name is Bill Marx? No, it is not me... but if you run a google on my name... his will come up all the time. which is fine with me... keeps everyone thinking I live in CA and am rich.... I stay under the radar.... The Marx Bros. have always been favorites of mine... along with the 3 stooges, The Bowery Boys and Our Gang... all great old stuff... slap stick is probably where I fit in.......................... 8)
