So I am in Philly sitting on a skip, when I finally get a new case from a new bondsman I have never worked with. No photo, wrong SS (unless he is a 87 year old female), DOB on bondsman paperwork is different from Courts (not even the same months). Zero info on guarantor, only a first name - not even an address. Skip's name from court is 4 names and none match DOB via IRB, FMS, or LPlus. Address on court doc for skip has 50+ names associated to it in the last 3 months. So I call bondsman, and ask "was this a favor or did you know them?".

Bondsman tells me "no, one of his people did it in a rush on a migrant worker but it's only 2500".

SIGH....is this what I can expect with pre-trial here in VA? Not happy :-( Will check with LE Monday to see if arresting officer will be kind enough to provide more. I don't mind hunting, but it would be nice to know who I am hunting.

When i get a case that the paperworks is a joke i up my price our i give the case back and tell them to let the person that wrote the bond find them. Thats the problem in a nutshell just write the paper and we will worry about anything if it comes up. Most of the bad paperwork cases will come from a employee that does not have anything of his or hers on the line, they write for a percentage with no liability. Also a lot of cases will be what i call terminal you have a week to find them or the case has been worked by 10 people or more before you get it. As time goes by you will get cases that the bondsman has no money set a side for a recovery and they will what you to start a tab. YEAH Right
