I love my Garmin, not only does it give me directions(correctly on MOST cases) but also gives me someone to cuss at while im driving and the voice on it tells me to turn left in.....miles when there is no road on the left in....miles!! lol
Like i said it is occasionally wrong but 99.9% of the time my Garmin gps gets me were im going.

I use Microsoft Streets and Trips, Garmin 700, Navigation that came with my car (outdated) and Verizon Navigator. Between these sources, i will get to where I am going. I used to have a whole file box of ADC maps, but alas, at my age, I can not see well enough to use them!

I do not have a GPS but my youngest has one that came (complimentary for a year) with his new Ford. Works great! with only a couple of . . . well that wasn't the right turn ;-) I still carried my current Atlas on our trip and it has a permanent space in my ride.

Microsoft Streets and Trips, Garmin, and Verizon with an Atlas for those "just in case" cases.

We have a tom-tom and the navigator on her droid not the vz-navigator,I guess it would be google, then put the same address in them and listen to them battle it out on which way to go

A little Droid Incredible, a Garmin E Trex and a Rand McNally... and after 28 years as a trucker... you better learn how to read and follow a map... yes, a map... all the other stuff is great but the old map is a last resort but coupled with the others... can give you an edge and of course without electricity or power... the map is the deal.... hell, you can even download maps on google earth or google maps... or even the web version of Rand McNally... http://www.randmcnally.com/ but stay current with the good ole paper stuff... ya may need it someday... 8)
