I discovered while reading another topic that several states ban bea's or bondspersons from even so much as sending a Christmas card to leo's, judges, or whomever.
Every year I send Christmas cards to those who have helped me in the past: Attorney's, Judges, our local Sheriff, to all of my local PD precincts,
court clerks in all of the different offices, bondsmen, service provider's, etc. it's not against our law here to do this, provided no gifts or monies are included.
There is nothing wrong with letting those people that I work with and assist me know how much I appreciate them.
Anyway, as always, just my 2 cents worth.
Take care and God Bless,
Ruffin

Bob,
I didn't even know you existed during the holidays last year. lol
During Thanksgiving last year I was in the Atlanta, ga. area on one of Mr. barber's "sweeps" chasing 5 different fugitives.

Sounds like Ruffin is going to have a much longer card list this year .
Most cards I send and receive are e-cards. Otherwise, I will just now say, Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, Happy Birthday, et al.

Me I say HAPPY HOLIDAYS - I am jewish and my wife is catholic so i get to celabrate twice - my son takes great advantage(he used to take both holidays off when he was in school - he told his teachers he had to respect both religions(he never went to church or temple) and he expected gifts on christmas and hanukah spoiled rotten i guess
so i say HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL and may we each be here next year to celabrate them again!!!! and to coin a great phrase---STAY SAFE OUT THERE

We verbally extend holiday wishs to friends and whomever has helped or assisted us if possible, all else with cards or e-mails. Before the laws changed we would give turkeys, but now we give them a goose. lol
