If Chapman comes to Indiana he will have to have a PI license to engage in any type of activity like that. If he doesn't already have one in another state he will have to get an out of state issuance here in Indiana and he will have to find an in state licensee williing to take responsibility for him.

Hope someone can help me understand this.
I was under the impression that his "partner in life" or wife, depending on where you read was the licensed bondsperson and that he only went out and tried to catch these fugitives. Does he need a license to do this or is it legal because he is acting for his wife?
I am new to all of this but would very much like to understand this business.

Don... you forget that Chapman is a felon and cannot get a PI license.

From "Beth's" reply I don't think they are going to follow the law.
I hope they do come and get arrested and fined. It would be funny.
