Rod Mitchell here. I reside in Houston, TX. I am the executive producer of two reality shows about your industry - American Bounty Hunter and Bail Chix. Reading the forum on a daily basis has been an educational experience, as I continue to become more and more aware of the issues and problems your industry faces. We have only one major goal: To present your industry in a positive and professional light to the viewing public. I will be looking to all of you to lend your comments, support and participation in our two shows, and we thank you in advance for that assistance. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all who are in the path of Katrina.

Prior military... special operations, and worked at a training center training other branches of US services, including 25 other countries service members. Worked in private security field, as well as doing executive protection for a large company owner and his family. I have about a year of college done towards my Criminal Justice degree. Im a licensed EMT & STNA, Ive worked on a volunteer fire department here. Getting ready to start school again in January to get my advanced firefighter and paramedic, as well as finish my criminal justice degree. Im getting ready to head to NJ to get Swift Water rescue certified in Awareness and Operations, then will go back in a few months to get Technician and Specialist, as well as once it gets cold, getting my Ice Rescue certification. Im definetly looking to get into bail recovery in Ohio and perhaps the tri-state area. After that... *shrugs*

Hi There!

I'm Chris Loomis, a licensed California Private Investigator (CA PI 24384).

I've done fugitive recovery for about 1 year now in the greater
Los Angeles, CA area. It is not a service I regularly advertise....

I have a fairly diverse background that includes both the fire service and law enforcement. At 34 years of age I look young and can blend with any crowd. That has been an asset in my success.

If I can ever be of assistance, please, feel free to get in touch with me!

Cheers,

My name is Jay Smith and I'm a so-to-be private investigator/bail enforcment agent living in Harrisonburg, VA. I decided to take up this line of work after my career in journalism has stalled. I was making in-roads to this craft about seven years ago until I was offered a position at the Parkersburg (W. Va.) News.

My goal in swerving into this profession is - like any other businessman(woman) - to provide a service, and make a decent living doing it. I hope my work in this field will help create a favorable image of the profession.

I hope that our cyberacquaintence can one day be a real one. Any words of wisdom from vetern BEAs is welcome and appreciated.

Jay Smith

Hello, this Rod Mitchell. I have been working with your industry for over ten years as a publicist, bringing media attention to the good things you do. I am also executive producer of two TV realty series about your industry - American Bounty Hunter (www.bailskip.com ) and Bail Chix ( www.bailchix.co ). We invite any of you to participate in our shows, which will portray the positive aspects of what you do at no cost to the American taxpayer. Our shows will not be anything similar to Dog the Bounty Hunter, and you will find them on-aire in 2006. Happy trails to all of you.
