I have been put on the 3-5 yr. list as of today. I want to meet some of you before i check out. Was hoping to be with you all longer. So don't be surprise if i give you a call and say i am on the way. It is kind of hard to write this so i will close for now. But know, i have come to love you all as my family.

I am going to explain a little. When you take the treatments for cancer they use a high powered poison to kill cancer cells.
The down side of this is it also kills good cells. They have killed to many of my good cells. If i continue treatments i have the 5 years, If i don't continue the treatments i have up to 3 years. This is a hard decision to make as the treatments makes you sick,sick ,sick . So even in death you have to make decisions. I am doing alright at taking the news.as i have been sick for a little over a year now. But i am not going to sit here and die, I'm am going to live big time with what time i have. I have some of you licensed under the Rose at this time and have never been face to face with any of you. that's going to change. My license is up for renewal Sept. 15, 2010 I do not think i am going to renew, if i do let it go i will call everyone that is licensed. and let you know one way or the other. All the darn diets they had me on are as of now out the window.

Dr's aren't always right David...... I was told by dr's in my teens that I would be in a wheel chair by the time I was 30....not there yet; 1984 I was diagnosed with Hodgkins disease...told I wouldn't make it...50/50....still here. 1998 Involved in a head-on car crash in Mo. had to be choppered out of the Ozark Mtns from a horse ranch, told I wouldn't make it....still here. No one can decide for you on what to do. Just live your life to the fullest each and everyday and when your time comes, it comes. Nothing you or anyone else can do about it. So put on your boots and kick up your heels...you still gotta alot of living to do yet...

I go to Ann Arbor,MI VA. They are the cancer research center for the University of Michigan.
Thanks Rob, Most everyone here knows i been fighting with this for the last 2 years, just do not know if i want to cintinue with treatments

Dave, I can only speak for myself here. Knowing what I do now, and the pure hell I have been through dealing with my cancer, I can tell you right now, I WOULD NOT go through it again. That's just my personal opinion. For me it is a quality of life issue. 5 yrs of being sick with treatments vs 3 yrs of being happy and mobile.....to me, its a no brainer. God bless my friend...

I would be out living large, max out all of the credit cards (In my name only) and knowing my luck, they would find a cure and I would have to pay it all back!

that's kinda what is on my mind. What a 3 years this is going to be. the only regrets are seeing my family & friends and i was kinda hoping my son would take over the business and continue on, but he is going on his dream not mine and i am cool with that.
