Anyone know how to get an email address from the ip address?? or is this even possible?

An IP address is used only to ID a specific computer. If the person has cable modem/DLS/T1 then you may be able to find the approx. location based on that. If they are using something like AOL or dial-up then the IP is assigned when they log on and thus changes every time they log on. If you know the date and time they were online with that IP then you might be able to get the information from the ISP. Most ISPs wont release that information unless you have a court order. PM me the IP and Ill see what I can dig up on it (I think there are some search engines on that stuff).

Some satellite ISP's like Direcway also change the return IP address everytime you send something to prevent hackers from tracing back to you. With current internet security issues it is very hard to trace a computer through it's IP. Otherwise, the feds would have these hackers and virus senders locked up.
Also, be very careful about entering an IP address into your address bar and hitting Go. Some addresses are viruses!
