The wife and I were at Target getting the normal Target stuff (dog food, etc..), and while there I meandered over to the electronics section. While in there I found a photo printer called the POGO by Polaroid. I guess since giving up making/selling old school instamatic film Polaroid had to do something to stay in business. So, anyway this printer is about 3 inches by 5 inches and prints 2 inch by 3 inch photos from your camera phone via bluetooth! In addition the photos have adhesive backing. I figured it would be a nifty toy to try out when I bond people out and take their pictures. Now I can print it right there, peel the backing and stick the photo on the corner of the bail app. Has anybody else seen or heard of this? If desired I will post up periodic reviews of field use.

No I have not heard of this, but I agree, sounds like a terrific idea. Could also have other uses in related fields...pi, surveillance, field interviews, CPS, etc.

Thanks for the heads up...:)

I just got home from doing a bond and my first use of this thing. It prints excellent quality photos and the client was a little shocked when I snapped the pic, hit a key and voila.....printed photo. The photo paper isn't too awful expensive....12.99 for 30 sheets with no ink or toner needed. Which IIRC is cheaper than the old school polariod film.

Oh yeah......the unit is only 99.95 at Target

I don't think so.....this is made by Polaroid, and is pretty far from disposible.....its actually pretty sturdy in a solid metal casing.

Duhh..silly me....I could have just "Googled" the price. The Target online price was $79.95...the other online vendors were anywhere from $95.99-$99.95....

79.95 online huh? Good to know since I'm possibly going to be picking up a few more of these for my agents!
