Yea, I was wondering about this phenomenon called snow. As I understand it, it must be cold to see this stuff. It has been years since we have seen temperatures under freezing for more than a day or two. As a child I used to get the odd chance of playing in cold white stuff that I believed was called snow......but that may have been a dream.

I guess it is too cold for snow here, so all we have is the cold wind. It sucks, and it doesn't. I like not having to shovel the sidewalk, but I hate missing out on the "white Christmas."

In the past week, we've had temperatures getting down to 30 below wind chill. With snow getting dumped on us 5 to 6 inches at a time. Yesterday the temp got up to 40 above, then dropped last night to the low 20's. Today I watched my lab run down the driveway 50 feet, then slide for about another 100! Then he tore his pad open and started bleeding all over the place. Typical WI winter!!
