This topic is for everyone that is a member to briefly say hello and introduce themselves. The standard (who, what , where, why & how):

Who: Who you are?
What: What type of work/service you do or provide? (Bond Agent, Recovery Agent, etc.)
Where: Where you are located? (Generalization, we don't need specifics here) Ha ha
Why: Why you choose this line of work or Why do you do it?
How: How long have you been in the industry?

This is a great way to let everyone here get to know you and to possibly use your servces or you to use theirs.

{Also, we are trying to clean up the memberlist...So many non-posting or one-timer members}

Thanks & Welcome to the site. 8)

Hello, I'm Ryan from Eastern VA. I'm just getting started in bail enforcement.

I got involved in this work because it has an extremely flexible schedule for a part timer like myself, and it feels good to get paid for getting trash off the streets.

I'm 29, wife , kids, and I play drums on a semi professional level.

My name is Bob Donnellan, I am a Licensed Bail Bondsman and a Licensed Private Investigator from the State of Arkansas.

I only do Fugitive Recovery and Transportation. I have been in this Industry exclusively now for almost 7 years. I, just really enjoy the cat and mouse game of this work and, as they say their is nothing like hunting like that of hunting a human. I am also lucky enough to be one of those that can say that I have never been hit nor have I ever hit anyoone while performing this type of work. I have had a few wrestling matches but never has it come to blows (knock on wood).

Hello to you all...

I am 36 y.o., married, and I have two children living here at home (10 & 14).

I am wanting to start my BEA/FRA training this fall. I am working my arse off now to pay for the schooling, licensing, CCW, and other standard issue items.

I am from Gladwin, MI (It's definitely more relaxed here than in Flint) Ha-Ha!

I finally put my foot down and decided it's about time I start doing what makes ME happy. I have been interested in Fugitive Recovery since my early twenties, but not only did I need a few years of extensive research... I had pressure from my parents to try something else. I am sure many of you can relate to this.

Besides my one-year certificate in Corrections Officer training and US Army training, I bring alot of determination, enthusiasm, and motivation into becoming one of the best trained agents in the field. It is also in my best interest to find a GOOD mentor with the same high standards I have. So, if anyone (from Michigan) is interested... Please hit me with a PM or an Email.

I deeply commnend anyone for putting themselves in harms way when it involves a good cause like Bail Enforcement. My hat goes off to each and every one of you.

Take care and stay safe.

Steve

Hi, my name is Gloria Greene and I'm from Cleveland, Ohio.

I have been a bail bonds person for 20 years. I found this forum while doing some research for one of our bondsmen who got jail time in New York, for bringing a fugitive back from Canada. Bob got 6 months in jail and his recovery agent got 1 year. Bob was told "no bail writing for one year". I wish I had been able to find something to help him before he had to report in to do his time.
