Re: The k-9 threads.
Not going to be redundant here, but just wanted to advertise this positive venture. Andy from Mi. wanted a k-9, Wm Berry in Md knew of 1 from an international championship bloodline that needed adopting. I played "connect a dot" between the 2 of them, and it's a win-win situation for everyone, especially the dog.."Simba" a 3 yr old German Shepherd.
The dog is still in Md. awaiting transportation to Mi. the logistics of which are still being worked out, but hopefully by next weekend Simba will be with her new family in Mi.
Andy is sooo excited..he's like an expectant father...already shopping for k-9 supplies, toys, goodies, etc....you can hear it in his voice...I even commented to him when we were on the phone I was a tad bit jealous....
Mr. Berry can relax now knowing that Simba is safe, Andy is getting his k-9, and the value of this network has once again proven itself....bringing 3 strangers together to save a dog...and we've never even met in person....
I shall have to dig thru and scan some old pics . . .
