My husband is born and raised in California.No criminal record.How and what do he do to be able to buy he first handgun?What paper and requirement has to be met?Can he say at the shootingrange that he wants to buy his own gun and thats it?

Your husband should know these answers. All he has to do is go to any legal gun store and they will guide him through the process.

Years ago, CA required resident s to complete a Basic Firearms Safety Course before they could purchase a firearm. Now you are require to complete a HSC, hand gun safety course.

If I recall Dani you are new to the U.S. He can not legally transfer any firearm to you accept through a licensed gun dealer. I don't want to accuse you of doing anything illegal. Just a friendly heads up.

That thought crossed my mind as well. She has discussed on here several times about becoming a BEA, now she is inquiring into buying a handgun.....

No, but we aren't stupid either. It's not a far stetch of the imagination for you to have your husband buy a weapon and other related BEA gear for you.
We were just trying to keep you out of jail. No offense was intended.

Dani, several of us have been around long enough to have responded to your posts in the past.
Mlost of them were asking about how to become a BEA in the US, with you not being a citizen. Everyone on this and every other professional forum will question you based on your questions and the info you provided.
This is an open forum, but anyone can join. You'll have to forgive the pros in here for wanting verification of your creditials before we accept you or your husband. Every state has their own requirements, so just being able to buy a handgun doesn't give anyone any right to do our job.
Sorry, but there is much more involved, and buying or carrying a weapon is more scary to most of us than it seems to matter to you. That is because most of us know our local and other state laws. In many states, most anyone can buy a weapon, but how they carry or use it depends on the state. You may be able to buy a weapon in CA, but where and how you can carry it may or may not be legal. Buying it is easy. Using it could get you could get you sent to jail for a very long time.

I'm not the most knowledgable person on CA firearm laws. However, I think I know more than the average CA resident. If your husband has never owned a firearm before, then I probaly know more than him.
I recall that you were looking at moving to the Bay Area. If that is where you ended up, the local LE's are very tough on firearm violators. In most counties you have to have extreme influence or demonstrated need for a CCW permit. Most sheriffs will not issue them.
Contrary to popular belief, the BSIS Guard Card does not qualify anyone to carry a firearm while doing recvery work.
If you read the CA AJs link that I postd you will know that there is a lot more involved in buying a firearm in CA than just going to a store or range to purchase one.
As you have stated your desire to enter the BRFP filed in CA, it is not unreasonable that some of us, me included may think you may be using your husband to make a "straw purchase." That will get both you and him a jail term if caught.
Unless you are a permament US resident, you can not legally own a firearm in CA. You can not take the PC 832 course, or the BSIS Powers of Arrest Course required under PC 1299 to work as a CA BFRP.
Some had suggested in other posts that you could maybe start off as a bail agent or agency onwer, then move into recovery work. Again you have to be a resident of CA for 2 years and a US permament resident to get a bail license.
Also, note that any person performing recovery work in CA has to meet all of the requirements under PC 1299. So lets say your husband qualifies to be a CA BFRP. You can not go along for the "ride" while he's is performing the work, if you are not 1299 compliant.
