Well everyone i am heading up to North Indiana to the pigeon River to do some trout fishing over the weekend. This will be my first time out of the house except for when my mother passed since October 29th 2006 when i got sick. I plan on being gone all weekend if my health will let me. I will be frying the fish up right on the river bank if i catch any which i have always been lucky up here. Ruffin i will be thinking of you as i believe you trout fish yourself. The best bait up here is canned corn(Don't know if it must be Green Giant or not). So i wish everyone a safe and enjoyable weekend and will be back on Sunday evening.

What a scum bag. Keep your comments to yourself. They are of no use to anyone here.
DMARTZ, have a great trip. Although I don't eat fish (can't stand the taste) I love to fish. I will get the chance to Trout fish, one day. I never have before. Sounds like a fun time.

Thank You Chuck & Mr. Thomas,
I do not even reply to posts like the above, I have grown very thick skin over the years so they don't bother me.
Be Safe & Have a good weekend

Have a great relaxing weekend, David. I trout fish at a couple of the lakes up here. I will have to try the corn bait.

David,
How I envy you ! Yes, I am an avid trout fisherman however I have not had much time for it lately.
Yes, corn works, but there is a drawback to it. If you practice catch and release, using corn, it's useless to release them because the trout cannot digest it. It swells up and kills them. Why alot of states have bans against using corn.
So if you're going to catch n cook, then it's ok...if not then best to use a fly of some sort.
Regardless though, enjoy ! I can almost smell the campfire now, grilled trout, fresh hush puppies....cold beer/sodas.....
