Your logic is faltered because "Zito " is a professional, career, criminal !....

You may be correct Mindtrack.

It seems in this world of criminals, cops and bail agents there is a fine line, but hopefully a line.

For example, the Essex police allowed Churchill to enter a home for which she had no keys through a window. She didn't have keys because she was not a resident of Zito's house.

MAX, I think you are missing the point here, it's not just that one related incident you keep referring to, about Churchhill, it's the overall conduct of "ZITO" that got him arrested! Those reports of his offences here in VT are just a piece of the whole picture!

What did happen for sure is that the incident caused a closer look into Mr. Zito's activities and background and uncovering multiple federal crimes that he had commited in several states using vaious aliases to to run and hide when he got caoght.

So, "he said, she said, they said" whatever is totally irrelevant!

Max, I agree with SteveG here, you are simply missing the point. This issue no longer has anything to do with Ms. Churchill, it has to do with the
absolute, irrefutable , totally criminal behavior of the ZITO persona and he past criminal history. People like him and some others that have been brought forth here, should not be allowed to grow and fester in society.

Now Zito or whoever he wishes to be today needs to accept responsibilty for his transgressions on society, and the rest of us need to be forever vigilant.

Everyone here may be correct. Perhaps it seems I am missing the point.

Does anyone have any information other than newspaper articles?

BURLINGTON FREE PRESS

Bondsman who fled is caught

By Sky Barsch
Free Press Staff Writer

March 27, 2007

Authorities say a bail bondsman who fled Vermont after he was charged with two assault counts has been captured and is facing more charges and allegations that he used more than 40 aliases over the years. Vincent Joseph Zito, formerly of Essex, also known as George John Koufos of Goshen, Ky., and other names, was being held in Albuquerque, N.M., where the U.S. Marshals Service arrested him Friday as he left a business. ]Zito's arrest was for allegedly violating conditions of release for a 1996 bank fraud charge, according to Chief Deputy U.S. Marshall William Gerke. Court records lay out numerous additional charges over the years, including impersonating a federal officer or agent.

Zito did not show up for a March 13 hearing, Deputy Chittenden County State's Attorney Nicole Andreson said. As a result, his bail was raised to $100,000.

THIS MAKES HIM A BAIL JUMPER - FINE UPSTANDING CITIZEN . . . HMMMMM

While authorities searched for Zito, they discovered that he had used more than 40 aliases, and in some cases false identifications, according to the U.S. Marshals Service. In the meantime, a federal warrant was issued in U.S. District Court in Louisville, Ky., for allegedly violating conditions of his release for the bank fraud charges.

hmmmmmm . . . THINK HE DESERVES ANOTHER GOOD CITIZEN AWARD?

Now do understand?
