Hello all,
First i would like to say you all are very intresting people to read after and have already gained alot of knoledge from this website and forum. I see there are some true profesionals out there.

I am 34, living in north, central, Wisconsin. If i understood the law lingo correctly comercial bond companys are not legal here therefore no need for hunters i'm guessing. That has not discoraged me for having a desire for this profession. I have read on other post here about all the different aspects to this biz. From hands on confrontation (the arrest) all the way to never having to leave your PC. Can anyone explain this more to me and give me there best idea's reguarding my location, age and so on.
Traveling to say Minneapolis or the srounding area would not be a issue if the $$ was right. Like i said being 34 and a family, military and or giving up present employment for school would be tough to do.
To describe myself: basically as "green" as they come but growing up on the outskirts of Chicago i would classify myself as very street smart. Good sized as not to be afraid to scrap with the best of them but have the mentality to avoid being physical when all possible. On the lighter side i can sit in front of the PC for countless hours with something that has my intrest. So to sum this up, all aspects to this I could be open to

I dont mean to make this out as i'm filling out a job app. but rather just giving out my info to get the best possible responses. Like i said with my age and location against me i still would like to get some profesional advice from those i've been reading here. Thanks to all. feel free to email me if anyone would rather chat "off the record".

FRN Agency ID #: 4006
Experience: More than 10 years
Your correct about the law in Wisconsin, but sometimes skips from other states end up there and as long as the jurisdiction where the charges are pending is willing to extradite you can often locate the skip, give the local PD a copy of the warrant and they will make the arrest, this is usually sufficient to get the Bondsman exonerated from the bond which is really what this profession is all about. In This job you usually spend about 95% of the time waiting and investigating and 5% making an arrest. Our Agency utilizes skip tracers in those States where BEA's are not permitted, in fact we sometimes use them in States where BEA's are strictly regulated so that we can verify that the Skip is there before incurring the expense of having a licensed BEA or PI get involved. If your interested in doing skip trace work visit our web site www.becpa.org and contact us.
