following the same of thinking as above - has anyone read the paper written by Stephen Halbrook (25 pages the paper is found at
www.law.bepress.com . . . paper is # 1824 in the year 2006) regarding "Americas Blackstone" the paper written by St. George Tucker in the year 1803.
Halbrook writes that Tucker considered the Second Amendment the "palladium of liberty" and self defense "the first law of nature".
Tucker further states (in his paper) that under the Second Amendment, Congress "has no power to regulate, or interfere with domestic concerns, or police of any state" . . . "nor will the constitution permit any prohibition of arms to the people."
