Tennessee man nabbed by bail bondsman

CUMBERLAND, MD - A Tennessee man wanted in Allegany County on four warrants dating back to 2005 was arrested Monday when he was brought to the Cumberland Police Department by a bail bondsman.

Troy Lee Skelton, 33, of Unionville was arrested on two separate bench warrants for failure to appear in court, a third warrant charging him with destruction of property, tampering with a motor vehicle and driving with revoked out-of-state license privileges, and a fourth warrant charging him with burglary and threat of arson.

Skelton remained jailed Tuesday on bond totaling $42,500, according to a jail official.

Cumberland Police said all the charges against Skelton related to domestic incidents.
