I learned from a reliable source that Mr. Traino did, in fact, accomplish what he claimed. "BUT" the skip was a US citizen (making all the difference in getting the bad guy out of the DR by phone calls) and that Mr. Traino did not personally travel to the DR.
So... having said that... good job!

Scott I did not think nor do I think the questions were out of line at all and I will stand by them. You are well aware of the frauds that have happened upon this site which is why I chose to engage on this topic. It all seemed to unrealistic to accomplish in said time frame for others that have worked in that area and I chose to ask without as much as one response to the questions.
If he is legit and I will always take your word for it then I apologize for thinking he was not being forthright in his post. I will always scrutinize anyone that is new when they make claims that seem unrealistic and are not willing to fill in the blanks and that comes from all the frauds that have been here and the ones yet to arrive.
Again I apologize for thinking you were another wannabee trying to make a name for yourself and Scott thanks for the clarification.

Robert... I, too, share the blame. But Mr. Triano should have been more specific. The way he posted the event was cause effect for doubt.
Years ago, I managed to negotiate a skip named Albert Collins (a Belknap County, NH case) out of the DR in a similar fashion because he was a US citizen. The difference being, I was present when the Policia Secreto arrested him and had the pleasure of watching as US Marshals arrived to take him to San Juan, PR for transport to the US.
In fact, I got quite a news article about the venture because Mr. Collins was a multi-count child molester.

Robert and Lance,
Superlatives aside, you are both very well respected and no offense was taken. We had a newbie to our group post an outlandish claim, but one hell of an accomplishment, as it did in fact occur as he stated.
We all have the responsibility to keep our group free from posers and riff raff, and being new, Don was very proud of his team's accomplishment and rightly so.
That said, all is behind us! Good council was provided and accepted.
So, how 'bout them Redskins?
Scott
ps Thanks L

Again to all no offence taken and I to apologize for any wrong doing in the way I posted the information. I broke protocol to do the posting and when I saw someone that needed help I reached out to him. I myself in my career like all of us have needed help and was giving back what I feel is owed.
The basis of the post was to give thanks to some of my friends in the industry that I have had the pleasure of working with and training with on a professional level, not to wave a victory flag so to speak.
To know me personally I’m a tight lipped individual. I only share information with those that can be trusted. I take much pride in my work and the ability to develop long term professional relationships.
In closing I hope we have established some here today. It’s my pleasure to and always has been to help anyone in any way.
Pleasure to meet you all and to some day get the chance to work together.
Sincerely,
Inv D Traino

Don,
I have been out of town, but I belatedly add my welcome to the group. We are leary of unknown newcomers, but with your references, you will have no further problems here.
On the sad note, what happened to my Bronco's this year . I have to believe that they will come back next season. Win or lose, I still love and support them. I was a fan (and won bets on them) long before I moved up here, and give my support no matter how sorry they play.
OK, I'm a transplanted Texan that hates the Cowboys (personal reasons), but love hockey due to the Stars who are still in the running this season. I have been called a traitor both in Texas and Colorado, but I like who I like, and don't care who differs with me. I have a champaign glass that my favorite Star's player drank from, and a personal autograph from him to me. Okay, James got these for me when he was under duress one night, but they are among my prized possessions. Maybe I should add that to my credentials (see other topics) .
