I know that you have to be a licensed PI or a Level III Security Guard in Texas to do bail recovery. Find DaronSneed or Bubba on here. Either can point you in the right direction.

Hello,

I am a former military police officer attempting to get into the business of bail retreaval. Does anyone have any tips or contacts that will give a rookie some training in this area? Thanks in advance.

For information regarding Bail Enforcement in Texas, please see the article I published on my website:

http://www.beabountyhunter.com/txlaws.htm

Basically, (if you are not a commissioned peace officer) you must obtain your Private Investigator license from the Texas Department of Public Safety, Private Security Bureau. They have their own background, age and prelicensing requirements.

More information can be found on their website:
http://www.txdps.state.tx.us/psb/
