it happens almost every day, i get the question.

I always just politley reply "dont believe everything you see on TV"

I have only been doing this for less than a year, and I see alot of inaccuracies on his program, my former employer seems to think some of its acting, i dont know if I'd go as far as saying that, but i just have a hard time believing everythin that happens on the show.

I especially like the part where, dog tells people he does'nt believe in carrying a gun, really? thats strange cause according to hawaii bail bond laws, bailbondsman cant carry weapons, but dog seems to forget to add that detail in as well.

do you all think that Dog gives us a bad name/and/or do you think its helping our profession?

I would love to know what you all think.

Well, all you have to do is look at a few post on here and you will see that we all agree that "Dog" is a big joke and is making our profession look like crap and making harder for the professionals.

Let me preface my remarks by saying this: Mr. Chapman once stated that "Dog" is "God" spelled backwards, which is why I refer to him simply as Mr. Chapman.

Cruise this forum and you will find numerous threads bearing various posts concerning Mr. Chapman.

As being a Notary Public among other things i belong to a few Notary forums they even talk about Mr. Chapman on their forums. Now what the H"""" has Mr. Chapman have to do with Notary Publics. The reason for this post is to show just how the Media can make or break someone. And just how many people are effected by this show.

Regards,

"Puppy" Chapman is beyond just a joke, he is an embarrassment and a danger to real bea's. People always say they want to be us but really mean him. Somebody is gonna get killed because they think it's all like the show and it isn't.

The real reason that he does not carry a gun is because he is a convicted felon and by his own admission spent time in prison. He brags about the number of arrests he has made but we have made almost as many in 2 years as he has in 10. Most of the time it is not him making the actual arrest. It is always his "team" with him standing there yelling. Have you ever wondered why he never escorts the prisoners in to the jails?

KEBCPA,

Welcome aboard. We all seem to to hold Mr. Chapman in the same regard here on the forum and it appears that you are no exception to this coincidence of shared opinion.

While I am relatively new to the forum and the BE Profession, you will find a host of seasoned professionals here that are interested in this business as a profession and all that is involved with it. You will also find everyone here helpful if you have a question.

I dont know who could take this guy serious. I would love to see him come into North St. louis wearing those clothes. He would have to change his name to "Kitty" Chapman by the time they got done with him. He dont look so tough in this jail photo. I dont know how this guy was arrested for armed robbery 18 times and is able to wander the streets acting like an idiot!!??
