Suggestions:

1) Key word search: Thousands of hits

2) Ask your local PD's who they buy thier dogs from

3) Ask your local animal shelters/vets who is a reputable trainer

4) Check into rescue programs, they are always looking for good homes for abandoned and abused animals. Several PD's get thier shepherds and rotties from these organizations. Usually the cost for adoption is far less than purchasing one. The cost of training though will be on you.

It's actually the Bail Bondsman I work for is looking for one. I thought I put what we needed, sorry bout that. Were looking for a trained Patrol/Personal Protection canine. We have called a few local departments and prisons here in Lancaster but they get there dogs from a guy in Allentown. We almost got one from him but we found a guy in Michigan who has them for $3,500. The guy in Allentown has them for $9,000. So before we go out to Michigan we wanted to see if there's anyone else in Pa or in a surrounding state that has them for app. $5,000 or less. Thanks again.
