WTF, why not just open the gates and let everybody in the country. It seems that the so-called un-document folks have more rights than Americans anyway. . A good part of my bail recovery work is immigration related matters and I tell you first hand most of the ones I re-arrest are real bandits.

They have the pretty much the same here in Miami, FL ..
In the past we used to go bail out an individual for a Misdemeanor or Traffic charge and then get a call later from the jail telling us our deft has an immigration hold in place.. do we wish to still remain on the bond ..?
9 out of 10 times .. we do not .. cause if immigration takes him after we post the bond .. getting our bond cleared / discharged is difficult..so usually we wait until the immigration hold is lifted.. then we post the bond. Otherwise we pass on that bond cause it isnt worth the headache..
Now Immigration holds are only placed on Felony cases.. Corrections in Miami Dade does not place an immigration hold anymore for Misd / Traffic cases.
