Maybe I'm missing something here, or really did my due dilligence wrong. A few years ago I went to pick up a skip in Tulsa. As usual, I read the laws before going and had my documentation in order. I remember one of the things I was required to do was call LE prior to making the arrest. As I recall, all out of state recovery agents were required to do that, which is probably why I shouldn't have started this. I'm not a Bounty Hunter and I wasn't a resident of Ok.

As usual, good response Bill. I keep my Bonding license primarily to go into other regulated States as this sometimes is my free pass to apprehend the fugi. As far as these STUPID regulations go, similar to NJ, NO kicking doors, NO id on clothing, NO badges, etc, etc, ... BS!!!! Hire a lawyer as we did, contest it and put these life threatening misconseptions into space while continuing to work as you did before. Regulating is a good thing as far as thinning out the yahoos & felons but end result, it will NEVER stop the unlicensed wannabees or the CHEAP ass CUT THROAT bondsman who use them.

All I can say is it is about time. OK has had a long history and bad reputation for allowing dirt bags to operate. Honestly Texas is regulated but not much enforcement. Still have plenty of idiots operating like they are the police. Many do not carry the required insurance covering Fugitive Apprehension and most are registered through a licensed company but not working with the company, basically taking a pocket card and using it as a license.
I recently submitted language to Senator Rodriguez of Texas that would tighten the existing language up so there is no grey area. Also introduced language that would make it a crime to resist or evade a licensed person executing a lawful arrest either with or without a warrant. Right now it is not a crime to assault or run from a licensed Bounty Hunter in Texas.
I wish we could kick in the doors, but we cant and honestly if we could I am certain the low life's operating under the radar would abuse it and just make it more difficult for legitimate operators.
So good on OK! I hope we have some success here in Texas making training required and improving the relationships we have with Law Enforcement statewide. And with any luck the language we at Texas Bounty Hunters submitted will pass through committee, the house, and get passed.

We are the southern bounty boys, Biggers impersonates cops, harris we dont really know well, Greeno is the only one who wouldnt be affected, the other 2, yes. We ran into Greeno a while back at david l moss and he was actually there filing charges on the other 2 punks. Had paperwork showing he wasnt a felon. His name isnt even anthony greeno, its diaz. Greeno is his stage name his real name is anthony robert diaz he uses.

"Southern Bounty" appears to be the name that Anthony Greeno is using. That's rather interesting to me. Are you Anthony Greeno? https://www.facebook.com/greenothebountyhunter?fref=ts
