MIAMI-DADE, FL = Revoked Bail Agent's Lic: Arrested 11-8-12

HOT OFF THE PRESS here in MIAMI ! ... I do not know much about this incident yet .. as it just was brought to my attention as nothing is a secret here in Miami-Dade, FL and bad news travels faster than a speeding bullet around here...I will report more about this incident tomorrow as I find out the details of the case, Stay Tuned....

I would have posted this in the Media section .. but this is very very fresh arrest in Miami Dade, FL that the news has not even gotten wind of yet.

This person was arrested 11-8-12 and booked into Miami-Dade Jail at 1938 hours EST, apparently was a FL Bondsman at one point in time, and was arrested for Operating as a FL Licensed / Appointed Bail Bondsman without being Appointed / and / or also operating with a Suspended or Revoked Bail Bondsman License in FLORIDA.

Apparently from the little info I have, this guy known as "AJ" is / was the Owner of "BIG TROUBLE BAIL BONDS" (Guess he is living up to the company name) located in Broward County, FL and Operated in other counties of FL as well like Palm Beach and I believe up North in FL too. He also was an owner for "A-BEST BAIL BONDS" in Miami on 18 st & 17 ave in Miami. His bond was posted a little while ago by an Agent I know.

It's great to see when arrests like these are made. These kind of people give the bail bonds profession a bad name and make it hard for legitimate bondsman to make a living.

As you know, there are so many corrupt bondsman (especially in dade county) its not even funny.

A question. On his 2nd case he had 21 counts of revoke / suspended bail license. Do they set the bail on those charges as if it was just 1 charge or 21 times the bail amount.

In other words, in CA if you have multiple counts of the same charge, if it is a felony, you are charge the scheduled bail amount for each count.

21 COUNTS @ $5000 EACH .... = $105,000 Total Bond for that charge alone...

And he still was able to post bail.

No he wasnt Tony, he was Suspended / Revoked pending his license being re-activated and also the Insurance Companies he was writing with canceled his appointments... I only can think that he was "SELLING" his bonds through another company.. I am sure more people or Bail Bond Agency will get burned in this case..

I saw on the booking log that under Desc it shows "Bond Out." I thought that meant he bonded out on those charges.

He did get bonded out after getting booked into Jail by another Bail Bond Company and an Agent who posted his bond for the Company that she works for, not his original company.
