PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP, PA: (Montgomery County) P/O has succumbed to his injuries after being shot in the head in the line of duty. He pulled over a perpetrator who allegedly was involved in a hit-and-run accident. Perpetrator has been shot, and may be dead at this time, but he is most certainly in custody. Prayers to the fallen officers family and co-workers.

Update: 34 year old P/O Brad Fox was pronounced dead at the hospital. He had a wife, 1 child and one on the way.

P/O Fox's K-9 partner NICK was also shot in the confrontation. No word on NICK's condition.

The suspect is believed to be dead as well.

I served in Operation Iraqi Freedom I with this officer.

He was a Corporal the last time I spoke to him, but when one of my old friends called me today to break the news. It hit me hard. Enraged doesn't even begin to explain it. I'm trying to find out the details now.

RIP and Semper Fi to a truely awesome Person, Marine, and Hero.

There's a facebook page dedicated to him called RIP Officer Brad Fox, he left behind a daughter and pregnant wife.

San Francisco Bay Area, has laid to rest a fine officer, who was killed in the line of duty.

More than 4000 pay tribute to Officer Kenyon Youngstrom waving farewell to a fine officer.

Sad thing is P/O Fox would have been 35 today.

On a better note, Fox's partner K-9 Officer Nick will survive his wounds.

I take 680 to work, and all the Pleasanton PD motorcyles and cruisers were in the diamond lane haeding to Vacaville...something you just don't ever want to see...
