I did not read every post on this thread after seeing questions regarding a link to a website that has state-specific carry law information
Here is the site that I use: www.handgunlaw.us

It would be nice if this included non resident permits as well. I hold permits for Florida and Utah which covers many of the States but good luck with me ever getting one in my home state of Ca. Even with a BSIS open carry, full P.O.S.T at least my county denies 99.9999 percent of apps.

You need to make nice with your local PD or sheriif. Make donations to the local police activities league, attend a fundraiser for one of them, etc. Once they get to know you as a "friend" then you may get one.

Otherwise you must move to a ccw friendly county.

I wish Santa Clara County Laurie Smith only gives them to people that can help her politicaly.

Also... fishing with your local Circuit court judge and eating lunch with the county sheriff (who, when in high school, worked as a dishwasher in a restaurant you owned 25 years ago...) and eating that lunch in a local restaurant that is owned by the former Chief of Police in your town... does also help a little...

Well,

Once we get NABBI up and running and you are an active member, we will "help" her policically and you will get you CCW!

If nothing else, we will just bribe her. That works for almost all politicians.

Tony....we don't "bribe" politicians...that's illegal.
Instead we make "campaign contributions" or "donations" to their favourite charity.....
