She won. I'm done with PBUS.
We need as many people as possible in St Louis to start working on changing the negative image of bail and bail recovery that she and puppie represent now more than ever!

W H O A ‼
How is that possible that they even allowed that?
I can't imagine that "real" professionals would want to have Beth Chapman, representing them.
That is really sad that a TV Celebrity from a reality (and I use that term lightly) television show can become that popular that others will overlook the negative viewpoint this presents on the industry.

I think the answer is quite simple actually..... their interest and true agenda is not aimed at professional BEA or bondsmen... they are interested in "feathering their cap"... and lets face it.... having the Champman's in the limelight of the organization will certainly help their membership... of course, who joins will certainly be determined by who runs the show.. and that is exactly what it is and what it will continue to be.... "a show"... ... one other thought... the way to change an organization is from within... maybe what they really need are actual professionals that will step into the mix and work to correct the direction. I just don't have the time or the inclination.

Bill I tried that. I even held a "class" in St Petes, Fl last July and covered the professionalism or lack there of by the celebrity bail agents and bounty hunters.
Obviously, I failed to win over any members of the PBUS. In fact I may have been part of the reason that the former exc director was fired. He was the one that invited me to speak on the "professionalism" of bail and recovery agents.
I did mention the puupie mill, so there may have been some blow back on him because of me.
Anyway, I think too many people confused celebrity with substance. Popularity with professionalism.
Again, everyone please spread the word about St Louis. We have a very high hill to climb!

PBUS is a fledgling association that needed the Chapmans to garner attention and membership. They are supported by the insurance companies and tout their message of anti-recovery to save risk exposure for them. In my opinion they used each other to forward their individual agendas. The Chapmans have absolutely had a negative reaction to commercial surety generated by their actions and publicity in both HI and CO. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see a pattern here. Over exposure, coming soon to a state near you!

The Governater got elected in California because of his celebrity status. I had a bunch yahoo's with petetions to recall the prior Governer to elect this guy. I don't have a problem with the Chapman's, in some ways their living the American Dream. But when it comes to holding office, you'd think people in the industry would chose the best man for the office. Celebrity Status and money to campaign make all the difference in the world.

Ghee Tony, maybe we're all wrong... ???? Maybe we all need to change our image.... certainly appears that way..... Heading over to my biker buddies tomorrow and springing for a couple of nice tattoos and a pepper ball gun... maybe a new leather jacket and some new shiny handcuffs.. maybe a nose and/or ear ring... hey!? who am I to question success.... ?? I'll need a really nice "bull horn" so I can announce my appearance and maybe a loud siren and some flashing lights and, and, and...... lets all get on the band wagon and turn this thing around.... I mean hey?!!!... were all starving and guys like him get tons of attention and make lots of money... well..... also thinking about maybe putting a nice 'merrygoround' in my yard with lights and music beside my Bail Bonds sign.... hiring a clown... maybe some dancing girls... yep... gonna change my life.... look out Dog, here comes "SPEEZACK" !!!!!
