I wear green head-to-toe body armor, including helmet with red face-shield. This way everyone will know right away that I am a bounty hunter! And I have a jet-pack to get up the side of that building! Gettin' where you're not wanted is no mean Fett! I mean feat!!

Sorry it's been a while since I posted on the subject but to let you all know our state did approve the use of badges and the design we decided on.

Now that is a cool looking badge.
Far enough away from looking like a standard police officer's shield, ad different enough to cause someone to read what it says.

Some have a real pretty badge from a long time ago, I have mine still. Jewelers quality. The problem being is some States do not allow a badge (AR, for one) and one can be charged with Impersonation.
If one is carrying said Badge in bag and not even wearing (displaying) run into just right the right LE and one is toast ;) and I do not mean that in a good way.
May want to stick with the "ID Card" type of badge.

Of course those states that do not allow badges, this would be a big no no. But for now in CA we can as long as they do not represent that one is in any law enforcement agency.

I would be willing to get one designed like that even at some future date, CA would ban badges, as I think it would go a long way in preventing cops from shooting recovery agents.
