I'm wondering if new people are invited/encouraged/valued to not only attend this event but help with the formation of this association? I read back thought this thread and realize that I am late to the party but would love to help if I can.

Because we are trying to change the image of bail recovery and even bail agents (bondsmen and women) lets make sure that everyone looks, dresses and acts professional at the meeting.

I am suggesting that we all dress in business attire. Casual or professional but absolutely no tactical or swat gear or clothing. In fact, during the meeting sessions, I would also request no company clothing.

Finally, lets leave all egos, past feuds, personal conflicts at home.

Image Just curious... what are you gonna do if he shows up... dressed like this?????????????????

Thank you. Having served on the boards of several non-profits and being a Recruiter by trade I'm willing to do what I can to help. Membership development is an area where I have lot of experinece. Additionally I have hosted a radio show and later an online podcast so if you guys are thinking about a NABBI podcast that's an area where I have a lot of expertise.

I was just in St. Louis this past Sunday on a midnight run. On my way home, I drove right by the hotel. I only saw it from the interstate, as I was pushed for time. From what I could see though, it looked very nice. An interesting side note is that there is an Annheiser(sp ?)-Busch factory just a couple of miles down the road that was advertising daily tours. Might be something fun to do while visiting there.

I haven't had an Anheuser-Busch hat since college days, the first go around! I just cruised their website, they don't have half of the marketing swag under the new ownership than they used to have. :(

Do you happen to remember, Tony.... I think I was one of only a couple that actually brought a suit with me to Vegas and if I am not mistaken... I showed up with a tie on the first meeting but after seeing half the folks with tshirts and shorts... I adjusted my appearance. I was trying to be proper but apparently, I was out of the mix.... so.... I guess I'll bring my suit with me to "Gateway".... (It's the one I got for $6 at the Good Will store... a real bargain!!)

mmmm... reminds me of that story of the guy that got a really good deal on a custom made suit... he bought it and after having it altered, he picked it up... put it on and walked out of the store and down the street.....

A block or so down the street he ran into one of his buddies and showed off the new suit... his buddy said "wow, that is really nice but the right sleeve is a bit too long?"... so the guy thanks his buddy... hunches over a little and pulls the sleeve up a bit and walks away... he runs in to another buddy a block or so down the street... his buddy looks at his new suit and says... "wow, that is really nice but the left pants leg is just a little too long...."... so the guy puts his hand in his left pocket... and pulls up his left pants leg and holds it while hunching over a bit to keep the right sleeve at the proper length... so now he is hobbling down the street with his left leg sort of dragging a bit and his right shoulder hunched over to allow for the too long sleeve...

He passes two old ladies walking the other way and after they get past him... one turns to the other and says in a low voice... "Myrtle... did you see that poor man we just passed...?"... and the other lady looks at her and says, also in a low voice.... "Yes, Mildred, he was pitiful... but wasn't that a beautiful suit he had on and didn't it fit him well?"......... 8) 8) ............. 8)

Perception is like beauty... it is in the eye of the beholder....

Yes Bill, you were a proper southern gentleman the first day.

Then after a night of drinking and chasing women, you barely were able to put your pants, I mean shorts on.
