Can anyone tell me how this works? If I am licensed in one state but want to go to other states to hunt can I? or do I need to be licensed in those states as well. I know for the most part you need to be a resident of the state? How does this work?

Thanks,
Manny Gonzales

Hello Manny,

I hope you are doing well today. I know in NY they have resident and non resident licenses. I have attached a link below for the qualifications to get a NY license. As long as you have a hunter training certificate and $280.00, your in. Take care.

Manny,

Read the Bail laws of the states you plan to work. That will give you the answer to your question.

Manny .. as for Florida you CAN NOT Bounty Hunt here.. it is a Class 3 Felony ..

You must be licensed by the Dept of Financial Services and also be a resident of FLORIDA to to Bail Bonds and Recovery Work here .. (Unless You Personally Wrote the Bond from your State and then May Come to FL to try and grab him .. but make note MANY MANY Law Officers in FL DO NOT KNOW THE LAW as it applies to OUTSIDE STATES and EVEN FL Laws ! So be careful when entering other states.. always check with that state you need to enter prior to going there.. ( Know their Carry Laws (Weapons) , Bounty Hunting , Clothing / Patches / Badges - such as AGENT / BEA / FRA etc...

Good Luck ..

FLORIDA BAIL INFO = http://www.myfloridacfo.com/agents/ ( Will only work with IE 7 - not Firefox)
