I figure "less is better" so only list my company names. I am listed in my local YP, and have my email and website in my profile, so besides IM's anyone who needs to contact me can find me. I get my share of spam emails from both the email and website listed in my profile, and also an occassional phone call from someone that I don't know trying to stir me up. Think about it...we are supposed to be investigators, so we should be able to find contact information for each other when necessary. If we can't find the information or make contact from an IM or email, or from searching our various search engines, we know who to contact to get the info. If not, hey, we suck at our job and the other party wouldn't use us anyway  .
Many of us are listed under company names, so anyone with the knowledge to call 411 can get our number. Hey, I figure if they took the time and trouble to look me up, they deserve a good laugh or insult, no matter what their spam or insults. (Thanks to LuVonda for putting the name together on the last one. All he got was a laugh from me for his insults, so he hasn't bothered to call again.) I simply refuse to let these idiots get to me so am not a good victim. On occassion, I have been told not to be rude, to which I responded that the person called a number for which "i" pay the bill, so until they pay it for me, I can respond in any manner that I choose.
I know that I have strayed off-topic, but the point is, I pay for my phone (landline and cell), I pay for my email, I pay for my website, so I have the right to accept, deny, or respond to any of these in any manner I choose.
